He also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army National Guard as a combat engineer. From the outside, it looked like the perfect American success story. Then he walked away from it. Charles left corporate aerospace and entered the trucking industry in Oklahoma, moving goods across America and learning how freight, transport, and logistics quietly shape economies. Today, he runs Apex Loads, a company focused on helping Africa’s logistics sector connect transporters, freight forwarders, and brokers through technology and market access.
