Former Foreign Secy: 'India Is More Likely To Face A Grey-Zone Challenge From China' |Vantage Select

Description

China has not fought a major war in decades, yet it continues to exert pressure on rivals across Asia. Former Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale explains the concept of grey-zone warfare, limited actions designed to achieve strategic objectives without crossing the threshold of open conflict. He argues that China prefers coercion, intimidation, diplomatic pressure and information warfare over conventional military campaigns. Gokhale discusses why the India-China border remains vulnerable to such tactics, what Beijing hopes to achieve through them, and why India is preparing for a prolonged period of strategic competition rather than a traditional war. --- Vijay Gokhale | Grey Zone | Foreign Secretary | India China Ties | India Defence Strategy | Firstpost | World News | News Live | Vantage | Hem Saroya | News #vijaygokhale #greyzone #indiachinabordertension #foreignsecretary #indiadefencenews #indiadefencestrategy #firstpost #vantageonfirstpost #hemsaroya #worldnews Vantage is a ground-breaking news, opinions, and current affairs show from Firstpost.
