FIONA CAULEY Isn't Faking It

Description

Fiona Cauley joins Steph fresh off getting engaged, and the two get into it fast. Steph and Fiona talk about her rare genetic condition (she's 1 of 3 siblings out of only 5,000 people in the US who have it), being told for three years as a teenager that she was faking her symptoms, a doctor who was visibly thrilled to finally diagnose her, $40k a month medication, dating with a disability and the men who either ran from it or weaponized it, handicap bathroom etiquette, and a story about a prolapsed uterus on the open sea that will ruin your week.
