Fear to Freedom: The Journey Behind This Podcast

Description

Welcome to the pilot episode of The Rescue Diaries. This season starts with the very journey our host Mariko recently had to come to awareness, walk through and overcome - all through the grace & wisdom of God. This podcast has been in the making since January of 2025 and it just makes sense to tackle all the whys behind the delay. God initiated stretching in order for deep healing work to take place. But it couldn’t be possible without the very first step. Him using her fear & triggers to signal that there are still hidden places within her heart that needed to be surrendered, lies that needed to be exposed, defense mechanisms like avoidance that needed to be identified & stripped down. When Jesus brings the root cause of those unhealed wounds to light, He also shows that it is possible for those parts to be uprooted completely, even if they’ve been there most of your life. Here you will find that navigating the healing process is vulnerable.. It’s uncomfortable and it gets messy - but that’s the beauty of having a personal relationship with Christ. We are not left to deal with these things alone instead he invites us to rely on His guidance, His comfort and His peace through it all. Expect new episodes every Thursday, 6am!
