Father Martins Reopens Our Most Unpopular Case: Predatory

Description

When we released Predatory in 2024, it drew a lot of criticism. Why would we include an episode where it didn't end well? The short answer is because it unfortunately proves the rule more than the exception. Many cases do not end well. Sin is intoxicating and hard to give up. For Dylan, he wanted the benefits of God without the relationship, and that wasn't going to work for Father Martins. In this revisit of the case file, Father Martins breaks down a very complex case and the bizarre psychological elements. How could a demon manipulate people into lust? Why would God permit that? Why did the demon remain dormant for so long before finally unleashing its attack on Dylan? Father Martins breaks down what dynamics are at play. Trigger Warning: This case file may be triggering to some listeners given the theme of sexual assault that is discussed. Listener discretion is advised.
