Ex-Witch Reveals the ONE Spirit Infiltrating Every Church

Description

In this gripping return to Blurry Creatures, ex-witch Jess Phoenix joins Nate and Luke to pull back the curtain on a different kind of darkness: the Pharisee Spirit. After escaping the competitive and high-stakes world of the occult, Jess expected to find a safe haven within the walls of Christianity. Instead, she encountered a relentless campaign of "spiritual bullying" and legalism. From being labeled a "fake convert" due to her aesthetic and past, to navigating the "provoking spirits" that haunt the digital town square, Jess shares a raw look at the internal warfare facing modern believers. In this episode, we discuss: 👉 Why the Pharisee spirit is more dangerous than the Jezebel spirit because it uses the name of Jesus to gate keep the Gospel. 👉 Navigating the distinct battles against the Devil, the World, and the Self. 👉 How to distinguish between true Holy Spirit discernment and personal jealousy or paranoia. 👉 Why Christ was patient with sinners but flipped tables on the religious elite. 👉 Why the enemy works overtime to silence converts and how to stay in character when you're being provoked. This is a sobering yet encouraging conversation for anyone who has felt the sting of religious judgment or wondered why the walk of faith often feels like a battlefield.
