Ethan Kavuma On Big Brother, What's Ruining Media & The Influencer Market| It's Never That Serious

Description

In this episode of It’s Never That Serious, I sit down with Ethan Kavuma for an honest and refreshingly unfiltered conversation about Ugandan entertainment, media, fashion, and the influencer world. Ethan, who previously worked at Sanyu FM and Urban TV, opens up about why he walked away from traditional media, saying he had outgrown it and felt it had become boring. We talk about his past attempt to enter the Big Brother house, plus why he believes he would win if the show returned today. Ethan also speaks candidly about the influencer market in Uganda, from being underpaid to dealing with agencies that bully creators, and why he feels the industry is becoming harder to navigate. He opens up about his experience as a musician, why he has stopped collaborating with Ugandan artists, and the level of professionalism he expects in his work. We also dive into his dream collab, his thoughts on December being overrated, his skincare routine ( or lack there of), and his perspective on relationships. It’s honest, it’s chaotic, and it’s very Ethan the kind of conversation that reminds you why this podcast is called It’s Never That Serious.
