Or are we all simply repeating old patterns?Kwentuhang bayan muna with Congressman Tobi Tiangco.Unang buwan ng bagong taon, tapos na.Dapat sana: panibagong simula, na nagmumula sa bagong pag-asa.But why does it feel as if it's business as usual, for politicians - with the way they govern, with the way they perceive the public and the seeming dominance over the ones who pay for their salaries.Bakit parang sila na naman ang nananalo? This, in the face of the massive corruption scandal that continues to grip the nation. While better lives for Filipinos, we all continue to wait for that.As we move forward into the rest of the year, the question remains. Are we learning from what had come before?
