Ep. 2: “Soft Girl Era” - Empowering or A Step Backward? | #BecauseWeSaidSoPod

Description

*OPEN ME* In this episode of Because We Said So, we dive into the rise of the Soft Girl Era—but is it truly empowering or just another aesthetic built to box women in? We unpack the meaning behind this trending lifestyle and whether softness is a choice or a performance as well as ways we can look at the “soft girl aesthetic” that makes sense for us average girlies. We also chat about Beyoncé’s new tour and the social media buzz around the Humanz Instagram post that had the SA social media streets buzzing! Join us for another honest girl chat as we reflect on femininity, identity, and the pressures of performing “softness” in a not-so-soft world. ________________________ Enjoyed the episode?
