Suspended TMPD Deputy Chief Umashi Dlamini returned to the Madlanga Commission today for cross-examination over his role in the R2.9 billion Tshwane Metro Police Department security tender scandal. Commissioner Baloyi and evidence leader Matthew Chaskalson SC grilled Dlamini over WhatsApp messages, cell phone records and internal procurement documents that proved he was passing confidential tender information between Sergeant Fannie Nkosi and external fixer Nico Mathobela.
