Dayne St. Clair Defines the Beauty of Mentorship | The Players’ Tribune

Description

In this powerful piece from The Players' Tribune, professional soccer player Dane St. Clair reflects on the mentor who shaped his career, urging us to "be the mentor you once had." He shares the story of his coach, Jerry, whose guidance led him to become a goalkeeper and ultimately a player for Canada, and how that inspired his own work with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Dane reveals that Audi is contributing $50,000 to the organization, emphasizing that you don't need to be perfect to be a mentor—you just need to be present and willing to pass on the lessons you've learned. » Subscribe to The Players' Tribune: https://playerstribu.ne/YouTube » Visit The Players' Tribune website for the latest written and video content: https://www.theplayerstribune.com #theplayerstribune PlayersTribune #Mentorship #Soccer #PayItForward #BigBrothersBigSisters About The Players' Tribune: Welcome to The Players’ Tribune, a media platform that presents the voices of professional athletes, bringing fans closer to the games they love than ever before.
