carter gregory vs CARTERA - ep. 14

Description

Today we’re joined by one of our best friends - music executive, interviewer, A&R, and honestly one of the busiest people we know, Carter Gregory. Carter talks about growing up in North Carolina, falling in love with music, and the journey that took him from dreaming about LA to dominating the music industry. We also get into his early assistant days, discovering artists and what it actually takes to make it in music. Plus, a few stories Carter probably wishes we wouldn’t mention. And considering we barely scratched the surface… there may need to be a part two. 0:00 Carter Gregory Interview Begins 2:12 Who Is “Cartera”? 4:38 Answering the Most Asked Fan Questions 10:07 Carter Doesn’t Watch Our Vlogs + Would He Ever Start One? 13:53 Meeting Queen B 16:01 Being Recognized in the Music Industry 18:25 Cary, North Carolina 23:49 Falling in Love with Music 25:15 MTV’s MADE 31:18 Fitness Culture 34:16 Dreaming of Moving to LA 38:05 The Worst Assistant Ever 42:43 (Almost) Missing Kylie’s Plane 44:52 The Journey into A&R 50:21 Carter’s Sleepover Nightmare 53:38 The Most Memorable Artists He’s Worked With + Testing Vinyls 55:45 Coachella Stories Baddie 2 Baddie Phoneline: Need advice only a baddie can give?
