Budapest Process Thematic Meeting on Law Enforcement Cooperation in Sofia | ICMPD

The Budapest Process convened its Thematic Working Group on Law Enforcement Cooperation in Sofia, co-chaired by Bulgaria and Iraq, bringing together 62 senior officials and experts from 16 countries. Over two days, participants explored ways to strengthen regional cooperation by embedding training within national institutions, advancing digitalisation and modernisation, and improving risk-analysis frameworks to better protect vulnerable groups.
