Description

This documentary follows the survival struggles of families along the Tajapuru River in the Amazon. It highlights the "river kids" who risk their lives boarding fast-moving ferries to sell sweets and fruits for a few cents to support their families. The story also explores the Juma gold rush, a deceptive "Eldorado" that leaves many prospectors in debt and despair while a few local bosses profit.
