On January 24th, 2026 a white male U.S. citizen and ICU nurse Alex Pretti was fatally shot at the age of 37 years old by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Pretti appears to have engaged in a heated exchange with an ICE agent after having been maced by one of the officers. A grouping of ICE agents proceed to detain Pretti who was in possession of a legally concealed weapon located on his backside. While Pretti was restrained by atleast five ICE agents, one disarmed Pretti and proceeded to unload atleast seven rounds of Alex’s own weapon into the now deceased's back while unarmed, restrained, and facing away from the ICE agent. This event follows degrees of civil unrest and terr0rization in Minneapolis included another fatal shooting of a white female U.S. citizen. Mixed reactions have sparked across social media and peoples representative of various backgrounds have sought to rally Black Americans to join the cause and protest against ICE.
