3dfx Voodoo 3 3500 TV: Video, Radio, BIG DONGLE

Description

Unboxing, setting up, and enjoying the Voodoo 3 3500 TV card from 3dfx. When it launched in 1999 it was one of the best GPUs around, and the fastest V3 from the factory! Its main appeal though is its TV and FM radio tuning and video capture abilities, all thanks to its big long dongle. ● Join as an LGR '486' or 'Pentium' member to access perks! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLx053rWZxCiYWsBETgdKrQ/join ● LGR links: https://www.patreon.com/LazyGameReviews https://www.twitter.com/LazyGameReviews https://www.facebook.com/LazyGameReviews ● Background music licensed from Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/ 00:00 intro 01:00 historical context 05:07 unboxing 07:31 installation 09:14 initial testing 10:32 driver woes 12:05 analog video input 13:35 television software 17:43 radio application 19:11 InterVideo WinDVD 20:43 Ulead VideoStudio 3 23:10 Quake III issues 25:00 more driver oddities 26:12 Quake 3 benchmark 27:07 Forsaken 27:48 Midtown Madness 2 28:32 Max Payne 29:52 3DMark 99 Max 30:36 outroduction #LGR #retro #gaming #graphics
