In this episode, Nat is joined by regular guest Brian and talk through some hot topics from recent headlines. They dive into the early verdict on New York’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, and what his leadership could signal politically and culturally. From there, they head south to discuss the arrest of Bellarmine Mugabe, son of Robert Mugabe, on attempted murder charges in South Africa, unpacking the wider implications. They also get into the fallout from the BAFTA Awards and the conversations that followed. Who was celebrated, who was sidelined, and what it all says about culture, power and platform.
