What Faith REALLY Requires

Описание

Oftentimes, we claim to live by faith, but most of us won't take a single step without a five-year plan and a guaranteed outcome. The greatest enemy of your faith isn't necessarily the devil—it’s your demand for predictability. We say we want to follow God into the unknown, but the moment the "wilderness" gets uncomfortable, we start looking for the old ways of Egypt. Let’s talk about what faith REALLY requires... In this episode of The Leader’s Cut, Preston Morrison exposes the idol of predictability that has taken up residence in the church today. If the Holy Spirit is going to lead you into the promise, He first has to cut away your addiction to a map. This isn't just about "believing" for things; it’s about the daily work of walking with a God who only gives enough manna for today. In this conversation, we’re breaking down the actual anatomy of faith: Why our fear of the unknown turns our desire for "safety" into an idol that keeps us stuck in spiritual slavery. Understanding what a life of faith actually requires. Why walking by faith isn't a passive wait—it's a partnership. Why God purposely keeps the full plan from you. This isn’t a pep talk about "having more faith." It’s a call to tear down the idol of control and start walking in close fellowship with the only One who actually knows what tomorrow brings.
