WHY IS THIS QUESTION ASKED? 01:27 Reason 1 is because they want to establish in the interview whether your strengths match the job role and the job description. If they do, your chances of getting hired will skyrocket! Make sure you read the job description before your interview so you know the strengths they are looking for from the ideal candidate. Reason number 2 why they will ask you the question, what are your strengths and weaknesses, is because they want to assess honesty and self-awareness. Do not say you don’t have any weaknesses! We all have weaknesses, and knowing what they are is a strength.
