Описание

In this powerful episode of Inside Acting, two of South Africa’s most respected actors — Hlomla Dandala and Dawn Thandeka King — sit down for an honest, unfiltered conversation about acting, identity and navigating real-life divorce while simultaneously playing characters facing similar emotional turmoil on screen. Hlomla reflects on his iconic portrayal of Derek Nyathi on Isidingo, the realities of being rejected for being “a coconut,” and the long shadow of typecasting. Dawn opens up about 'Mazet' in Lockdown — her favourite role to date — and the psychological depth required to inhabit a character experiencing hallucinations in solitary confinement.
