Описание

“I think daddy killed mommy in the bathtub” - On April 11th, 2007, Alexis Somers gets an unexpected call from her father, Dr. Martin McNeill, 500 miles away in Pleasant Grove Utah: her mom, Michele, is dead. Martin claims her death was an accident--a complication from a surgery she had just days earlier, but when Alexis arrives back home she realizes something is terribly wrong. As Alexis begins to uncover what truly happened to her mom, it becomes clear that her dad is hiding a disturbing secret. Now, it’s up to Alexis to avenge her mother, save her sisters, and take down a killer before he hurts anyone else. - Director, editor & co-writer: Matthew Rice Researchers: Tanvi Rajvanshi & Bianca Yzabelle Tan Voiceover: William Akana Producer: Salim Sader Assistant editor: Hannah Alicbusan Distribution manager & co-writer: Kat Gardilcic - Sources: Getty Images “Evil Rising in Utah”: Abuse of Power/Deadly Power, Oxygen, 2018. “Secrets in Pleasant Grove”: Dateline NBC, NBC, 2013. “The Perfect Nanny”: ABC 20/20, ABC News, 2019. “Bodycam video released in case of Springfield Twp. paramedics mistakenly declaring a woman dead” WTOL11, 2024. “Video: #MartinMacNeill's daughter, Alexis Somers, said she wants it known that she was the alleged victim” The Salt Lake Tribune, 2014. “MacNeill sentencing” Daily Herald, 2014. “The Official University of Nevada, Reno Campus Tour” University of Nevada, Reno, 2022. “Nab Fake Doctor Who Fooled The Neighbors and His Wife” The Jersey Journal, 1926. “Charges Against Doctor Dropped” The Spectrum, 2008. “Man Pleads Guilty to Identity Theft” The Spectrum, 2008. “County Dropping Charges Against P.G.
