Описание

In this episode of One in Tribe, host Julie Fidalgo engages with Mariana Tavares, a Portuguese-born Muslim revert, to explore the connections between Islam and Christianity. They discuss the role of Jesus in Islam, the continuity of religious revelations from the Torah to the Quran, and how Jesus' teachings aimed to clarify Jewish law. Mariana explains the impact of Hellenistic culture on the perception of Jesus and the subsequent need for the Quran to reaffirm monotheism. The conversation also touches on the challenges faced by early Muslims in a polytheistic society and the transformative messages of equality and humanity in Islam.
