"The Show Must Go OFF" (w/ Laura Benanti)

Описание

The unreal Laura Benanti joins Matt + Bowen for a lil' Las Cultch that is performed in exactly the CORRECT key! That means the first ever Maria Von Trapp is in the studio! As well as the first Gypsy Rose Lee, the first Melania Trump, the first Eliza Doolittle and the SECOND Claudia from Nine! The three all come together, forming a trine, to ask... what is the POINT of vacation? What does it mean to be Italian, not by blood, but by love? What is the backstage etiquette when your friend is in a show that is awful? When is it just too many mugs in the cupboard? Also, the story of Tita Papa, the Italian Santa Claus who sleeps with your wife, how Laura broke her neck committing onstage, and what it was like to experience Sleep No More alongside a terrified Patti LuPone. All this, the impact of the Into The Woods PBS pro-shot, liking musicals but loving Sondheim, hosting the Jimmy Awards, No Hard Feelings, "comedic embarrassment" and realizing that your vagina may but be The Portal To Greatness. You gotta head over to www.nobodycaresisacomedy.com and get tickets to see NOBODY CARES, Laura's new stand up show. She's brilliant in every way. Just like you<3See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
