The Pentagon’s Press Purge

Описание

As the Pentagon implements sweeping new restrictions on press access, Jon is joined by Atlantic staff writer Nancy Youssef, War Horse founder Thomas Brennan, and former Pentagon spokesperson and retired Marine Corps Colonel David Lapan. Together, they examine why many journalists vacated the Pentagon and refused to sign on to these rules, explore the realities of military reporting from inside and outside the Pentagon, and discuss what’s at stake when a trillion-dollar institution responsible for millions of American lives becomes even more opaque and unaccountable.
