The "Faith and Feminism" Episode ft. Blessing Omakwu

Описание

This week’s episode is sponsored by God’s grace. Jola & FK are joined by Blessing Omakwu, the CEO of The She Tank, a gender-equality evangelist, and a really knowledgeable theologian. The girls get into the dicey topic of balancing one’s faith and feminism; if these concepts are entirely antithetical to one another, OR if religious text is actually more feminist than we believe. They shed light on our favourite Bible stories and on how much nuance is required in the pursuit of Christ. They also tackle some really dicey dilemmas about a couple who co-own a thriving business. Still, one half always takes all the credit, and the dynamics of growing up in a home with separated parents. We hope this episode makes you think deeply & laugh even more.
