Stop Living for People's Approval

Описание

In this episode of Her and Jesus, Isabel dives into a question every believer eventually has to confront: Are we living to please God, or are we living to please people? Many times we convince ourselves that what we are doing is for God, but deep down our decisions can be influenced by the fear of man, the desire for approval, or the pressure to meet other people’s expectations. In this episode, Isabel shares a personal conviction the Holy Spirit brought to her and how it revealed the subtle ways people-pleasing can creep into our lives. Through scripture and real life reflection, she breaks down why obedience to God will often lead to misunderstanding from others and why following Christ requires a boldness that is not dependent on human approval. This episode explores: • The danger of people pleasing • What the Bible says about the fear of man • Why obedience to God may look crazy to others • How the Holy Spirit checks our motives • Why God looks at the heart while people focus on appearances If you’ve ever struggled with approval, felt misunderstood, or wrestled with choosing obedience over expectations, this episode will encourage you to stand firm in what God has called you to do. Because at the end of the day, the question isn’t whether people understand you. The question is whether God is pleased?
