He came up making satire out of Indian political news, and his documentary on the protest put him inside the story he was there to report. Blunt about the media he came up in, honest about the protest's own contradictions, and done with the myth-making on every side.In this episode, Vinamre and Sarthak discuss:• The Sonam Wangchuk moment that made him go all in — the on-ground reality versus the social-media narrative, and how the algorithm decided what the protest "was"• His actual breaking point — the internet blackout, the communication jam, and how close the barricaded crowd came to a stampede• CJP's one demand BJP never met — no FIRs against protesters — plus the "toolkit" question, mass psychosis, and whether more censorship is coming• Why national news isn't 24/7 propaganda — how critical stories get buried in low-viewership slots while prime time runs the agenda• Satire heroes Shekhar Suman and Ajeet Bharti, Delhi food, unexpected Manipur, the calm of Kerala — and what's next for the channelFollow Sarthak Goswami on:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@SundaySarthakTimestamps:0:00 Intro1:20 Sonam Wangchuk Moment2:45 Reality vs Narrative6:47 What Stayed True9:49 Political Content Pointless?16:07 The Crying Policeman26:51 Breaking Point30:20 Just BJP Hate?32:42 New Political Movements34:51 More Censorship Comi
