🇩🇪 Returning to Munich after 11 years - Oktoberfest, Recording Half Boozed and Bad Escalators It’s been over a decade since I last set foot in Munich, Germany, and I’m not entirely sure they should’ve let me back in! Last time… let’s say Oktoberfest won. Think stumbling back head-first over old ladies whilst dancing on tables, chundering in toilets and broken hostel beds from hostel olympics. This time, I’m older (maybe wiser?) and back to see the city correctly — before diving headfirst into the world’s biggest beer festival. I also managed to swerve a sca,m which you will see on camera. Oh, and of course, a bit of half-cut filming at Oktoberfest with terrible audio but it is all part of the fun! In this vlog, I reconnect with my awesome travel creator friends Matt & Nat and Chris & Sara, explore Marienplatz, the New Town Hall, and Frauenkirche, wander through Munich’s Old Town, and even stumble upon a vegan cat café for breakfast. Then it’s time for the main event — Oktoberfest — steins, songs, chaos, and all. You have to watch Chris and Matt's attempt to walk on an escalator to get on a ride. Hilarious! From exploring Bavarian history to surviving beer-fueled rides, this vlog captures the best (and worst) of a whirlwind 24 hours in Munich. It was amazing to see Chris and Sara, even though it was way too short, but these are the experiences I live for in travel. For Matt and Nat, I head to Regensburg next for a filming day in one of Bavaria's awesome little towns. Be sure to tune in for that, as I saved Matt with a croissant on the train!
