Maguguni: Cheap Land, Beautiful Hills… and Brutal Heat!

Описание

In this video, Robinson Adventures explores Maguguni, a small quiet town in Thika Constituency, Kiambu County. Located 22 km from Thika town and 47 km from Nairobi CBD, Maguguni is known for its semi arid climate, hilly terrain and its calm, old style town centre with small markets, eateries, petrol stations and Maguguni Primary School. The area is under Thika MP Alice Wambui Ng’ang’a and forms part of the wider Thika Sub County population of about 284,776. Away from the highway, the interior is made up of marram roads, scattered homes, small farms and growing developments as more people buy land and build on the slopes. Water scarcity remains a major challenge, with many residents relying on boreholes, though the town is generally safe with a police station nearby.
