Legends of the Dark Knight Review

Описание

Our hosts return to the Podcave to watch Legends of the Dark Knight, one of the most stylistically unique episodes in the DCAU.Alex and Will dive into how the episode brings both the 1950s-era Batman and the Dark Knight Returns version of the character into animated continuity, breaking down the many nods, references, and Easter eggs the showrunners packed into this fan-favourite story. Will also pitches a live-action TV series inspired by the episode’s concept, an anthology show hosted by Alfred, giving us live-action adaptations of some of the greatest Batman comic stories ever told.Plus, Firefly returns! Along with a questionable business model involving setting fires in order to get paid enough to buy fuel to set more fires...expect plenty of fire puns.Tip Jar: https://buymeacoffee.com/batmantaspod ThreadHeads 20% Off: https://www.threadheads.com/BATMANTASPOD87466Buy Our Merch: https://www.bleakworld.store/category/btas-podcast-collaborationOutbreaks Issue 4 Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/speechcomics/outbreaks-1-4-an-ongoing-zombie-anthology-seriesMobster Mash 1-2 Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/speechcomics/mobster-mash-1-2-classic-movie-monsters-as-mobsters Join Our Discord - https://discord.com/invite/bQF76V3nUs TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@batmantaspod?_t=8zn1yhsgnfz&_r=1 Follow us on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@batmantaspod Follow the Pod on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/batmantaspod/ Follow the Pod on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/BatmanTASPod Follow the Pod on Twitter - https://twitter.com/batmantaspod1 Subscribe to Will's Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/willrobson Speech Comics Website - https://www.speechcomics.com/ Will's WhatNot Page - https://www.whatnot.com/user/speechcomics
