This devotional is built on Psalm 30 verse 5 — weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Your sorrow is real, but it is temporary, and it has already been given a deadline by the loving hand of your Father. The light is already moving across the sky toward the place where you stand. In this prayer and devotional you will discover: Why your long season of waiting is never wasted, and how your morning has already been scheduled in heaven (Psalm 126 verses 5 to 6, Lamentations 3 verses 22 to 23) How Hannah waited in bitterness of soul, and how God remembered her in His perfect time (1 Samuel 1 verse 27, Habakkuk 2 verse 3) A word for the hearts still waiting — the man who waited thirty-eight years by the pool, and the sudden miracle that found him on an ordinary day (John 5 verses 6 and 8, Psalm 27 verse 14, Isaiah 40 verse 31) How God does not only remove your sorrow but turns it into joy, the way grief became gladness for Mary at the empty tomb (John 16 verses 20 and 22, John 20 verse 16, Isaiah 60 verse 1) If you are tired of waiting, if you have watched others receive what you prayed for, this is your reminder that God has not skipped over your name. Those who wait on the Lord renew their strength. Your morning has your name on it. Stay until the end and pray this blessed prayer w
