It is no secret that we are still suffering from the "Great Schism" between Catholics and Orthodox and with that comes real theological and political baggage. Today Fr. John and I discuss all things schism related, why the schisms happened, how part of the Assyrian Church came back into union with Rome, plans for 2025 Easter joint Catholic and Orthodox celebration and if there is hope for future unity between apostolic Christians. Christian unity is a great undertaking, too big for any one of us to handle but with Christ all things are made possible and I hope that this channel can at the very least bring us all just a little bit closer to that ideal.
