If You're NOT Worried About AI, You NEED To See This

Описание

AI CEOs are telling you your job is about to disappear. NYU Professor Scott Galloway says that narrative is "mostly bullshit" and explains why the catastrophizing is really a fundraising strategy designed to justify trillion-dollar valuations. Galloway breaks down the gap between the predictions and the data. Unemployment in the US sits at 4.5%. Youth unemployment is slightly below the historical average. New business creation per capita has doubled in the last decade. Job listings for radiologists, the role most frequently predicted to be eliminated by AI, are actually up in 2026. Coder job listings are up 11% year on year. If you stripped away the headlines and just looked at the employment data, you would have no idea there was supposed to be a job apocalypse underway. He argues that every technology in history follows the same arc: initial fear, short-term disruption, and long-term job creation. AI CEOs have a financial incentive to amplify the fear because their companies need either a trillion dollars in new revenue from AI products (which is not materializing) or massive labor market destruction that creates cost savings for their clients.
