How could the ancient Egyptians forget how to build pyramids? Ben Van Kerkwyk discusses the intriguing concept of how historical knowledge, particularly regarding the construction of the pyramids of egypt, can fade over time. It highlights that by 500 BC, the Greeks had no collective memory or records of how pyramids were built, emphasizing the potential for rapid loss of such information. This raises questions about our understanding of ancient egypt and the mechanisms behind historical amnesia. Ben Van Kerkwyk is an independent researcher and travels & studies ancient sites around the world in an attempt to uncover the true origins of our past.
