He found love in the Philippines — and never looked back. Aaron left America, bought land sight unseen off Facebook Marketplace, and now lives completely off-grid in the mountains of Bohol. No rent. No electricity bill. No water bill. Just a simple life he built from scratch. In this video, Aaron and his Filipina wife Jaja share their full story — from an unexpected online connection to raising their son off-grid in one of the most beautiful islands in the Philippines. They also reveal the humanitarian work that keeps them rooted here, including the story of a little girl named Jhan whose life they helped change forever.
