G20 Global Inequality, MEANWHILE In South Africa...

Описание

How does a modern nation with vast resources allow its citizens to risk their lives every rainy season? For centuries, societies have adapted to nature's cycles, building essential infrastructure. Yet, in parts of South Africa, the annual rains expose a painful reality: communities cut off, lives endangered, and a fundamental breakdown in service delivery. We show you the shocking footage of children resorting to crossing flooded rivers on makeshift rafts, highlighting the critical lack of bridges and storm drains. This video contrasts the nation's available industrial capacity (cement production, engineering talent) with the dire conditions on the ground. It also raises difficult questions about the allocation of public funds: when taxpayer money is spent on presidential motorcades and luxury allowances, what is the cost to the most vulnerable communities? Join the conversation as we explore the widening gap between leaders and citizens, and ask why basic infrastructure is being replaced by food parcels and political rhetoric. Discover the painful truth behind the inequality debate in South Africa. Please share your thoughts below.
