From Textbook to Exam Question

Описание

This podcast grew out of a question from one of my Level 3 students:“How do I know what the examiner actually wants in the Short-Written Answer questions?”It’s a question I’ve heard many times over the years, and one that sits at the heart of the Level 3 theory exam. Most students spend a lot of time studying the content. What often feels less obvious is how to translate that knowledge into marks on the page.In this episode, I share the framework I use with my own students to decode command verbs, identify what the examiner is looking for, and build stronger answers using the cause-and-effect relationships that appear throughout the Level 3 textbook. If you’d like to work through these examples with me live each week, you can learn more about the Level 3 Study Circle here:https://thesommpour.substack.com/p/level-3-coaching This is a public episode.
