From Dodgeville to Afghanistan | IED Hits, PTSD, and Coming Home | Ep. 43

Описание

Josh Elarde served with the Dodgeville unit and deployed to Afghanistan as part of a route clearance team. In this episode, he shares what it was like operating in Helmand Province, the reality of IED strikes, and the mindset that comes with it. We talk about the differences between Iraq and Afghanistan, the moment everything changed after that first blast, and what it’s like coming home carrying more than you realize. Josh opens up about PTSD, a short fuse, and the struggle of adjusting to civilian life and family after deployment. This is a real conversation about brotherhood, pressure, faith, and learning how to move forward. Episode 43 drops Saturday, May 9th.
