Flow Over Perfection: Creativity, Yoga, and Aging with Wendra Lynne What if aging well isn’t about doing more — but about loosening our grip? In this episode of Sexy in Your 60s, I sit down with lifelong friend and creative guide Wendra Lynne for a conversation that unfolds at the intersection of creativity, embodiment, and aging with intention. Wendra is a visual artist, author, and illustrator whose work spans painting, writing, teaching, and deeply embodied creative experiences. Our conversation moves through her lifelong relationship with art, the role yoga has played in quieting a busy mind, and how practices like watercolor invite presence, flow, and trust — especially as we age. We talk about creativity not as output or achievement, but as a living practice — one that supports emotional resilience, steadies the nervous system, and helps us stay connected to ourselves through different seasons of life. Along the way, we explore how confidence can deepen with age, how purpose can soften without losing meaning, and how caring about the world doesn’t have to mean carrying its full weight. This episode is less about answers and more about listening — to the body, to curiosity, and to what’s calling now. It’s an invitation to rethink perfection, to value flow, and to remember that creativity isn’t something we leave behind. It’s something we grow into. And yes — as with every episode, I ask Wendra the question that opens the door to our deepest reflections: What does “sexy” mean in this season of life? You’ll have to listen for her answer.
