Allah, Himself, refers to death as a calamity, The Messenger of Allah (S) said, “Do not long for death because the terror that follows death is immense. It is a sign of blessing to live a long life so that a person is given the opportunity by Allah to repent.” The throes of death are a final means of expiation for sins committed, or having our ranks raised and it is for this reason that many of the righteous considered them to be a blessing in disguise. ʿUmar b. ʿAbdu’l-ʿAzīz said, ‘I would not like the agonies of death to be reduced for me, for that is the last thing by means of which sin may be expiated for the believer.’ Website & Contacts: http://www.islamicguidance.co [1 Day Reply] Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/islamicguidanceinsta/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/IslamicGuidanceYT Please subscribe and press the bell (next to the subscribe button) to receive updates and notifications.
