DOLE discusses mandates to ensure occupational health and safety

Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has partnerships with public and private institutions to ensure occupational health and safety for workers, Occupational Safety and Health Center senior occupational health officer Reynold M. Sta Ana said at the sidelines of a BusinessWorld event. Mr. Sta Ana said that occupational health and safety is mandated through Republic Act (RA) 11058. On the occasion that workers' health and safety in the workplace is compromised, Mr. Sta Ana said that regional DOLE hotlines and help desks are available for support.
