Chris O’Donnell: 9-1-1: Nashville, Reflecting on the Batman Movies & Career Longevity

Описание

This week, Tommy is joined by actor Chris O’Donnell, whose decades-long career spans iconic films, long-running television hits, and some of Hollywood’s most memorable roles. Chris reflects on the experiences that shaped his path. He looks back on landing the role of Robin in Batman Forever and shares behind the scenes memories from that era, including the props he still keeps today. Chris also opens up about the mixed legacy of Batman & Robin. The conversation then turns to television and longevity, including his 14-year run as G. Callen on NCIS: Los Angeles. Now, Chris steps into a new chapter with 9-1-1: Nashville, where he plays firefighter captain Don Hart. He shares what drew him to the role, how filming in Nashville brought a renewed energy after years in Los Angeles, and why the timing of the project aligned with a major transition in his personal life after wildfires displaced his family from their home. Chris also talks about embracing a mentorship role on set, and why fans connect so deeply to crossover moments within the 9-1-1 universe - and he receives a special surprise message from a cast member from 9-1-1! Chris opens up about balancing a long career with family life, the importance of change, and what he hopes his work will be remembered for after decades in the industry.
