Global markets traded cautiously amid easing geopolitical tensions and weakness in US technology stocks. Former US President Donald Trump said a planned strike on Iran was called off after requests from Gulf nations, leading to a nearly 2% drop in Brent Crude prices to around $109 per barrel. Asian markets were mixed, with the Nikkei 225 trading flat and the Hang Seng Index rising 0.2%, while US futures declined following a tech-led selloff on Wall Street. Overnight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 150 points, but the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite slipped up to 0.5%. US bond yields remained elevated, with the 10-year yield at 4.6% and the 30-year yield at 5.13%, while gold prices edged higher on a weaker dollar. Meanwhile, GIFT Nifty signaled a mildly positive start for Indian equities. #StockMarketLive #Nifty50 #OilPrices #USIran #DowJones #Nasdaq #GlobalMarkets #BrentCrude #ShareMarket #MarketNews Moneycontrol is India’s leading financial portal, offering market news, expert analysis, and powerful tools.
