Playlist for Through the Magic Door by chapters: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZrCyG_xOH1h9fOfKLQERO40hhDRzvGkq This is chapter 9 in which Doyle discusses his bookshelves as they relate to Napoleon and his biographers. He really did have a passionate interest in the little 'Corsican', didn't he? Also some further memoirs relating to Louis XIV are discussed. Plus I was testing out this new dash cam on my car, and thought I'd add that for no discernible reason. Although having said that, some listeners might also wish to look at the state of British roads, the amount of set-aside in Lincolnshire and even the video quality of the cheapest dash cam in Argos? (It's not great on the number plate / licence plate clarity, is it? but captures the clouds quite nicely!) Name that car? Maybe it's the heat... If anyone wants this chapter in plain old vanilla please do let me know, and I may oblige. All the best, folks. Greg
