It’s easy to become accustomed to getting our daily news and information quickly – with the tap on an app! Not so during the war years in the 19th century.Newspapers were the mass media of the time. You’ll read about spies from the South in the North and those from the North in the South. And, you’ll meet some daring people who were willing to give their lives for the cause they believed in. Among the dispatches are some very detailed accounts of executions.Read more
