In an apocalyptic future in which a brutal VR role-playing game has merged with the real world, Liam Park struggles and dies while fighting for himself and his sister, May. But an unexplained miracle occurs: he has suddenly time-traveled four years into the past, just before the game first appeared. Now, as a skinny 16-year-old orphan, Liam is given a second chance.
