Fatherhood Quotes: Thinking of you on Father’s Day And Every Day

Imagine your father picking up thisgift bookfrom youevery now and then and reading a few passages. He smiles, maybe his lips tighten stoically and he looks like he’s trying not to get choked up.He thinks of youand gets the thousand-yard stare for a few moments. This is why this book was published. It was written to celebrate fathers and fatherhood. It is divided into sections for easy reference and paced throughout with ornamentationand caricaturetoavoid that dreaded “WALL OF TEXT” look. The paperback, doubly so!The people quoted were not picked for any reason other than whether or not their words might make an impact on the reader. I will be honest, as a father myself there were times when I was a little emotional compiling this. If it were otherwise, either the quotes weren’t worthy or maybe I wouldn’t be as much of a father as I hope I am!The sections run from heartwarming to hilarious. There are some for fathers of sons, and some for daughters. There are some about “non-biological” fathers and even a few about grandfathers. From philosophers and writers to artists and pop culture icons. Some are from fathers themselves and some others singing their praises, but all of them are sincere reflections on the fathers we depend on.Share the love!Read more
