Lake County Minnesota Sheriff Dave Trask and his identical twin brother Don, Lead Investigator for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, were bored. A poster for a long-missing girl attracts their attention and the brothers decide to look at the old case files to fill their time. The Trasks return to fishing once the weather improves, but they can't escape the sense that there is something more to the disappearance than they see in the case files, especially after their lives are threatened. Don assigns one of his Duluth agents, Danny Carlisle, to look into the missing girl's background. Carlisle's investigation leads her to the University of Minnesota in Duluth where she finds her inquiries stonewalled, and her life soon placed in danger.Meanwhile, the Trask brothers follow other leads pointing them to the real possibility that a serial killer is roaming northern Minnesota, abducting young women who never come home.Readers of John Sanford, Jeffrey Deaver, Michael Connelly, William Kent Krueger and alike will enjoy this gripping murder mystery detective thriller.Newly edited.Praise for Bring Her Home from readers:"Fast and Exciting!
