A Guide to Ministerial Ethics and Etiquette

This book was originally published more than thirty years ago by Rev. I. Parker Maxey, father of Dr. Gary S. Maxey. It was reprinted several times in its original American format and widely used in Nigerian Bible colleges over the past twenty years. Now this revised and Africa-contextualized edition has been produced to continue to fill a large gap in material for pastoral training for Nigeria. Dr. Gary S. Maxey has overseen the editing of this African edition, particularly relying on the expertise of three African pastors and trainers of pastors who had opportunities to study under the original author during his numerous visits to Nigeria in the 1990s. Dr. William Udotong (who served at WATS for over twenty years, including seven years as provost), Dr. Acha Goris (who is married to one of I. Parker Maxey’s granddaughters), and Rev. John Onwuka (long-time pastor of pastors) have teamed up to make this book the best on the market for ministerial ethics and etiquette. A Guide to Ministerial Ethics & Etiquette already has a proven track record in Nigeria.Read more
