World’s Best Trader: The $300 Million Trade (George Soros Copied Him)

Deskripsi

On this episode of Words of Rizdom, we are joined by Andy Krieger, the trader behind executing one of the most successful trades of all time. He executed a $300M trade that helped set the playbook George Soros later used to break the pound. With that trade he set a record in 1987 as the world's highest-earning trader. Andy breaks down how he used options, liquidity, market psychology and stop levels to crash the New Zealand dollar, why options are “nuclear bombs”, why retail traders have no edge in short-term noise, and what traders should actually focus on if they want longevity. We also discuss George Soros, Bill Lipschutz, Paul Tudor Jones, Stanley Druckenmiller, Ray Dalio, options trading, market inefficiencies, information flow, why retail traders are disadvantaged in short-term noise, and why the best traders think in probabilities, time horizons and psychology. This is real trading history.
